Work Environment

The work setting for this role is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in work hours. Your work will primarily take place within a community health clinic model, emphasizing integrated care and patient-centered approaches. We utilize modern technology to aid in virtual therapy sessions, ensuring that our services are accessible to all clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual, comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' strengths, needs, and mental health concerns, tailoring each approach to individual circumstances.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, providing therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups using modalities suitable for distinct issues.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and primary care providers, to coordinate integrated care and promote clients’ overall wellness.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and support services.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Engage in continual professional development through participation in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing education activities to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. This role demands a strong commitment to cultural competence and social justice, ensuring that all clients receive respectful and individualized care reflective of their unique circumstances and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, ensuring confidence in therapeutic practices.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of individuals.
• A commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and social justice in all aspects of social work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with evidence-based practices, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote healthcare setting.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
