Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, tailoring individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques in individual, group, and family therapy settings, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Engage with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate coordinated, holistic care and ongoing support for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques for clients in acute distress, employing compassion and expertise to navigate emergency situations effectively.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental illness. This might involve attending workshops, conducting presentations, or collaborating with community organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on delivering care to clients from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing an array of mental health challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues, among others. By engaging with a diverse clientele, you will enhance your cultural competence and clinical experience, effectively contributing to community well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s degree or a doctor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong cultural competence to effectively work with individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.
• Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health setting or in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• A history of engaging in public speaking or community outreach related to mental health education and awareness.

Compensation and Benefits
