Position Overview

Huckeye Health Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. This full-time, remote position is integral to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of students in a school-based setting. Work Environment

This position allows for flexibility as it is primarily remote, with required virtual interactions with school staff, families, and other stakeholders. Our team utilizes various digital tools and platforms to facilitate communication and ensure that our services are easily accessible to the students we support. You will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home, all while remaining connected to a dedicated team focused on the same goals of mental health support.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between families, school staff, and outpatient providers to enhance continuity of care and support for each student.
• Engage with insurance companies to manage pre-certification and utilization management, ensuring that students receive the necessary services efficiently.
• Participate actively in discharge and aftercare planning for students transitioning from more intensive services to less restrictive environments.
• Provide therapeutic meal support, guiding students through modeling a healthy relationship with food, which is essential in their holistic development.
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care that acknowledges and respects the unique circumstances and identities of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position will be on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Understanding the delicate nature of their developmental stages alongside their intersecting identities will be critical. You will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological growth, paving the way for a healthier school experience and supporting their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrated experience working with older adults or school-aged populations is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills to assess and address a variety of psychological issues effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families, and educational staff.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience collaborating with educational systems and knowledge of school policies regarding student mental health would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with the specific challenges faced by the student population in Tennessee, including cultural competency and responsiveness to diverse community needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
