Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique needs and cultural background.
• Provide psychotherapy services to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Monitor each patient's progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans and interventions based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care specialists, to coordinate holistic care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to enhance their understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records through electronic health record (EHR) systems, following all ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily work with patients in our detox center who are dealing with acute mental health conditions stemming from substance use issues, trauma, and various life stressors. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding these individuals through their recovery journey while addressing the psychological and emotional challenges associated with detoxification and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, preferably in a detox or addiction treatment setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport building with diverse patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
