Work Environment

This position is uniquely designed to be entirely remote, enabling flexibility while ensuring consistent and reliable support to clients at our detox facility. While working independently, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing the therapeutic experience for clients facing significant mental health challenges and substance use issues. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients dealing with severe mental illnesses and emotional disturbances, offering a safe space for recovery and healing.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that address the unique needs of clients, encompassing treatment goals and collaboration with family members and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct thorough assessments, including brief evidence-based screenings, to determine treatment needs and facilitate referral processes for additional evaluations or services.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to client emergencies.
• Facilitate team meetings to promote shared objectives, enhance therapeutic strategies, and support professional development among peers.
• Manage a diverse client caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records, treatment plans, and progress notes in line with organizational policies.
• Advocate for clients' access to necessary community resources and services, ensuring a holistic approach to their treatment.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The individual in this role will primarily support clients experiencing complex substance use disorders alongside co-occurring mental health challenges. Through evidence-based practice and trauma-informed care, the LCSW will serve clients from various backgrounds, focusing on developing therapeutic relationships that respect cultural differences and individual narratives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred.
• Active LCSW licensure in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with substance use and mental health populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork, effective communication, and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and familiarity with documentation standards.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices, particularly in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral methods.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a detox or substance use recovery environment.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral systems relevant to mental health and addiction services.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans that incorporate family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
