Work Environment

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being a part of a dedicated team. Our setting is designed to support your professional development and well-being. As part of our detox center, you will collaborate with professionals from various disciplines, ensuring holistic care for our clients. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance with no crisis calls required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on these evaluations.
• Provide telehealth or, when applicable, in-person behavioral health services to clients one-on-one and in group settings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and practice management system.
• Utilize evidence-based practices while delivering culturally sensitive services to respect and honor the diverse backgrounds of our clients.
• Engage in collaborative teamwork by establishing effective working relationships with fellow professionals and support staff to enhance service delivery.
• Produce detailed progress notes, treatment summaries, and case reports to fulfill documentation requirements and track therapeutic progress.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, connecting clients with appropriate resources during critical moments.
• Stay updated on the latest mental health practices and research to inform your clinical work and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with a range of mental health issues within a detox center context. This includes individuals seeking support for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate recovery, addressing both their psychological well-being and any underlying social determinants of health.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills, including assessment, intervention, and documentation.
• Exemplary organizational abilities to manage client schedules effectively and maintain up-to-date notes.
• Capability to produce timely progress notes that align with treatment objectives and compliance standards.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical or therapeutic setting, particularly focused on mental health or substance use disorders.
• Experience in telehealth service delivery and familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technologies.
• Training and experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
