Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored specifically to the unique needs of students.
• Provide crisis intervention and perform thorough mental health assessments to ensure immediate support is available.
• Collaborate with school staff and outside professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for students.
• Facilitate workshops and informational sessions on mental health topics relevant to student populations.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment-related difficulties. Your expertise will be vital in creating a safe and welcoming space where students feel comfortable expressing their concerns, thus contributing to their overall academic and personal success.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in California is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educational professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
