Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions. You will develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique challenges faced by each individual.
• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive behavioral changes and emotional healing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that patient records reflect progress and treatment adjustments.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and community resources, fostering informed decision-making and shared ownership of recovery.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in the mental health field to integrate new knowledge into therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact primarily with individuals seeking treatment for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Your therapeutic approach will not only be responsive to the mental health needs of clients in a detox environment but also supportive of their broader recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the State of Colorado is essential.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to ensure personalized care that resonates with each client's needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building therapeutic alliances with clients and their families.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities will support effective interventions and adaptations to treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a detox or addiction recovery setting is highly advantageous.
