Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to establish a clear understanding of clients' needs and challenges.
• Create tailored treatment plans utilizing solution-focused methodologies that align with evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing, to foster emotional and psychological resilience.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with treatment team members—including psychologists, addiction specialists, and peer support workers—to ensure holistic care for each client.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated with current research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our detox center primarily serves individuals grappling with addiction, alongside those facing trauma, anxiety, and depression. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, making it essential for our therapists to employ a culturally competent approach that respects each individual's unique story and circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• Active Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) certification in Pennsylvania.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills aimed at fostering trust and openness with clients.
• Confidence in working both independently and collaboratively to develop effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a therapeutic setting, with familiarity in trauma-informed care and substance use treatment strongly preferred. Experience utilizing digital tools for therapy management or telehealth modalities is also advantageous.
