Work Environment

The work setting for this position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible scheduling within a structured framework. While interactions with clients will primarily take place via phone, you will also have opportunities for in-person consultations as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, manage, and implement individualized support packages that address the specific needs of clients facing obstacles such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, and mental health challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ emotional and psychological states by interviewing service users to understand their current conditions, needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Establish tailored, measurable goals for each case, fostering a systematic approach to treatment planning and progress tracking.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide vital information and counseling during sessions that empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their treatment and recovery paths.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and progress, ensuring that documentation is accurate and up-to-date for reporting and continuity of care.
• Participate in case conferences and be prepared to present evidence when necessary, contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Serve as a key worker in cooperation with community services, providing referrals and facilitating connections that support clients’ recovery journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse range of clients, including individuals affected by substance abuse disorders, individuals who have experienced trauma, and families dealing with mental health crises. You will work with clients who may be in crisis and require empathetic care and immediate support to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required for this role.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in providing direct social work and counseling services to diverse populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practices, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Empathy and a client-centered approach are crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a detox or addiction recovery setting is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
