Actively provide patient education, set safety interventions, and ensure symptom reduction strategies are in place to facilitate better patient experiences and outcomes.
Coordinate referral options and maintain robust relationships with external treatment providers, functioning as a critical link to additional resources and support services.
Engage in mentoring and training of students, interns, and volunteers, contributing to the development of the next generation of mental health professionals.
Support your personal and professional development through opportunities for peer review, clinical collaboration, and team-building activities under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.
The focus of this position is primarily on individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses. You will work closely with patients who are experiencing profound emotional and psychological challenges, supporting them to navigate their conditions with understanding and compassion. Your role is vital in empowering patients to reclaim agency over their mental health and overall life quality during a critical time.
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory to practice.
At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in a healthcare or mental health setting, preferably with a focus on oncology or similar patient populations.
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and familiarity with mental health diagnosis evaluation tools.
Proficient in electronic health record systems and documentation processes to ensure seamless patient management.
A background in interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. In addition to competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
