Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for students, focusing on both short-term and long-term needs.
• Collaborate with school staff to create pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, as well as behavioral guidelines tailored for individual student cases.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment interventions.
• Engage in documentation that meets regulatory standards to maintain compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our services remain at the forefront of quality care.
• Serve as an essential liaison with local and state agencies, community partners, and service systems, fostering a network that supports student welfare.
• Maintain open lines of communication with families, teachers, and administrative staff to advocate for students effectively and promote our agency's mission within the community.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities such as attending conferences, leading workshops, and contributing to task forces relevant to mental health and education.
• Embody the agency's values and principles in all professional interactions, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment for all stakeholders.
• Assist Clinic Director with additional assignments that support the operational and clinical objectives of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on a diverse student population across various schools. Students may present with a wide array of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related experiences. As an LCSW, you will have the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in their journey toward healing and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current LCSW license in good standing with the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of supervised clinical social work experience, preferably in educational settings.

• Experience in school-based mental health programs and a thorough understanding of the educational system’s needs.
• Proficiency with evidence-based therapeutic methods relevant to working with youth populations.

Compensation and Benefits
