Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring personalized treatment planning that incorporates innovative, evidence-based methods.
Implement tailored therapeutic interventions focused on individuals experiencing substance use disorders and associated mental health challenges, fostering a supportive path to recovery.
Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation adhering to all state and federal regulations, safeguarding patient confidentiality and care compliance.
Collaborate with our integrated care team—including psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and counselors—for coordinated, holistic treatment approaches that enhance client physical and mental health.
Participate in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to share insights and strategies, continually aspiring to enhance the quality of care provided.
Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, recovery processes, and available resources, fostering a culture of empowerment and informed decision-making.
Stay informed on the latest developments in the fields of mental health and addiction treatment to apply cutting-edge practices in your therapy sessions.
Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population, including those undergoing detoxification due to substance use disorders and related mental health issues. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges requiring sensitivity, empathy, and a comprehensive understanding of substance use treatment methodologies.
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
A valid LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-graduation, focusing specifically on psychotherapy and substance use cases.
Demonstrated proficiency in solution-oriented therapy techniques and interventions.
Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a commitment to fostering cooperative approaches to care.
A passion for working in a team-oriented environment while also possessing the ability to deliver care independently.
Three or more years of clinical experience within detox facilities or outpatient mental health settings.
Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices in both mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
Experience with integrated care models and multidisciplinary teamwork.
