Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children and families, ensuring evidence-based approaches are utilized.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) to tailor services that meet specific child and family needs.
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes as a team member, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, offering tools and strategies to foster their child's developmental achievements.
• Utilize coaching models and natural environment teaching methods to enhance learning experiences for children during therapy sessions.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of care.
• Develop strong rapport with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members to cultivate a nurturing and effective therapeutic environment.
• Interpret and implement recommendations for interventions utilizing evidence-based practices aligned with the Natural Learning Environment Practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on young children, particularly infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. Our services are designed to empower families through quality support, enhancing children's physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills. By working closely with families, our LCSWs help them navigate resources, fostering an environment of growth and development for their children.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure from the Department of Public Health as an LCSW is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is essential for potential travel as necessary.
• Strong ability to adapt treatment plans to accommodate various learning styles and individual needs of children.
• Effective organizational skills and time management to balance multiple cases and administrative responsibilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with families and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention or working with children is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
