Sunshine Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity. Key Responsibilities

Your role as an LCSW will include a variety of direct practice and collaboration tasks, such as:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health issues, strengths, and available community resources.
• Delivering individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy to address clients’ unique needs and circumstances.
• Developing and executing tailored treatment plans that reflect client goals and monitor progress through regular reviews.
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and well-coordinated care for each client.
• Implementing crisis interventions and risk assessments when necessary, focusing on client safety and stabilization.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups to enhance community-building and shared learning among clients.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all client interactions and treatment plans are accurately captured.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The social worker will primarily engage with clients who are navigating the complexities of detoxification and recovery. This population includes individuals dealing with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, or both. Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably related to substance use and recovery services.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies tailored for detox and recovery clients.
