As an LCSW at Lifeworks, your day-to-day tasks will involve:
Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs, including a detailed history and a clear understanding of treatment goals.
Delivering individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using a range of evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and narrative approaches tailored to client needs.
Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that interventions align with their unique circumstances and goals.
Regularly monitoring client progress and making adjustments to treatment strategies as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Maintaining strict adherence to ethical guidelines and legal standards to protect client confidentiality and foster a safe therapeutic environment.
Engaging in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and pursuing further education to stay abreast of the latest best practices in mental health care.
Establishing and nurturing a strong therapeutic alliance with clients to promote trust, cooperation, and sustained personal development.
Providing clients with practical strategies and emotional support to help them navigate personal challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Your work will directly impact a diverse range of clients, from individuals to couples and families, each with unique mental health needs. We are looking for candidates who possess:
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a private practice.
Strong clinical skills encompassing assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention techniques.
Exceptional communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in telehealth services or who have employed innovative therapeutic modalities in their practice. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and a passion for continuous learning in the field of mental health will also be beneficial.
