Bright Star Counseling is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our dedicated team focused on enhancing the lives of seniors in our community. This full-time, remote role is centered around providing essential support and guidance to aging individuals and their families. The ideal candidate will possess the state licensure, along with the empathy and expertise needed to evaluate the unique psychosocial needs of seniors while developing tailored care plans that promote their well-being.

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to conduct client assessments and consultations from the comfort of your own space. However, the role does require the ability to make in-person visits when necessary to monitor client well-being, assess living conditions, and assure client safety. Our work hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs. Flexibility in scheduling will be crucial, as you will need to adapt to accommodate the specific timelines of senior clients.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker at Bright Star Counseling, your primary focus will be on the senior population. You will work with individuals facing various challenges associated with aging, including mental health issues, social isolation, health transitions, and the need for end-of-life planning. By understanding their unique experiences and needs, you will play a significant role in advocating for their care and improving their overall quality of life.
While the basic qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in community health settings, geriatric care, or hospice environments will stand out. Familiarity with telehealth practices and previous roles that involved direct client advocacy will also be considered advantageous.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
