This role primarily focuses on individuals dealing with substance abuse challenges, spanning various demographics, including teens, adults, and families. You will engage with a diverse client base, each with unique backgrounds and stories, necessitating a customized approach to therapy that addresses their specific needs. Your work will not only aim to alleviate symptoms but also promote resilience and coping strategies among clients as they navigate their recovery process.
While a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience is required, additional experience in crisis intervention, group therapy settings, or with specific population segments (e.g., adolescents or adults) will be viewed favorably. Knowledge of local community resources and referral processes is also beneficial.
