Work Environment

This role will primarily operate in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while remaining integrated within the local school community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of students, utilizing standardized tools and interventions.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual needs, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on topics such as coping strategies, emotional management, and social skills.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including educators and school psychologists, to coordinate care and monitor student progress effectively.
• Provide families with educational resources and support, fostering a collaborative approach to mental health management.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and experience managing electronic health records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teamwork and collaborative care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with interactive therapy tools and student engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
