Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the complex needs of each individual client, followed by developing personalized treatment plans employing best practices in psychotherapy.
• Providing a multitude of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adjusting modalities based on each client's preferences and treatment trajectories.
• Maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA and other relevant regulations while ensuring timely updates to enhance patient care management.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide cohesive and systematic care for our clients.
• Regularly participating in case consultations and peer review sessions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care delivery.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment modalities, and necessary community resources to facilitate informed decisions in their care.
• Staying current with trends and research in mental health to integrate innovative practices into your clinical work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population encompassing a wide spectrum of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By utilizing our evidence-based approaches, you will contribute significantly to improving emotional and psychological well-being, enhancing patients' overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• A current and valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy services, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in employing solution-focused interventions and therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, vital for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to effectively address diverse client needs.
• A proven ability to work independently and manage case load efficiently while remaining a supportive team member.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is highly favorable.
• Previous experience in a detox center or similar setting focusing on substance use and recovery is a plus.
• Knowledge of community resources within Connecticut for additional patient support.

Compensation and Benefits

The LCSW position provides a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
