Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, enabling you to work from anywhere in California. Our virtual practice utilizes state-of-the-art secure telehealth platforms, allowing you to engage with clients effectively while maintaining a safe environment. We pride ourselves on a flexible but structured work culture that emphasizes client care without burdening our therapists with excessive administrative duties. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions, including one-on-one and couples therapy, utilizing secure teletherapy technologies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on client needs, therapeutic goals, and clinical best practices.
• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, adjust therapeutic interventions accordingly, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians to ensure continuity of care and to provide a multi-disciplinary approach in supporting clients’ mental health.
• Engage in continued professional development through training and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic skills and clinical knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Attention to individual client background, preferences, and goals is paramount in your practice to foster a supportive therapeutic alliance and facilitate successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and active LCSW license issued by the State of California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably in a remote or virtual care environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in treatment planning, risk assessment, and documentation procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth modalities, including technical proficiency with relevant platforms and tools.
