Key Responsibilities

In your role as an LCSW, you will be responsible for delivering psychotherapy services to a diverse range of patients with varying mental health concerns. Your specific tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on best practices and solution-oriented interventions.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based modalities tailored to individual client preferences and treatment goals.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records, following HIPAA and other regulatory standards to ensure confidentiality and high-quality care.
• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
• Participating actively in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care delivered to patients.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Staying informed of current research and trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into clinical practice to improve therapy techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. Your role is pivotal in helping them navigate their struggles, providing compassionate support and effective therapy that contributes to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license to practice in North Carolina.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, emphasizing psychotherapy in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques.
