Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker for Detox Center

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at White Valley Psychotherapy Services. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing crucial support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders at our detox center in Elgin, Illinois. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility for both the clinician and the clients they serve. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals to implement effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement tailored treatment plans to support clients in overcoming dependencies and related challenges.
• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to understand each client’s current state, needs, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Establish clear, measurable goals for clients based on individual needs and continuously monitor their progress towards achieving these goals.
• Facilitate sessions that offer counseling and guidance, utilizing evidence-based practices to recommend suitable courses of action.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and facilitating effective care planning.
• Participate in case discussions and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive management of client cases.
• Provide referrals to community resources and support services, enhancing the recovery process for clients after detox.
• Act as a key worker for assigned clients, fostering professional relationships that encourage trust and open communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from various substances. Your expertise in social work will empower you to support these patients in navigating the emotional and psychological complexities associated with recovery. By building strong therapeutic relationships, you will help clients address their unique challenges and foster resilience throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is required.
• Proven experience in a clinical social work role, specifically in a setting focused on mental health or substance use treatment.
• Strong knowledge of social theories and practices that inform client care within a detox environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Familiarity with case management software and electronic health record systems is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and to represent clients' needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
