Work Environment

This position is uniquely remote, allowing you to connect with clients not only from the comfort of your home but also enabling you to serve various schools in the Redmond, Washington area. As an LICSW in a school setting, you will have the opportunity to work transculturally with diverse student populations, aiding their mental, emotional, and social development. You'll interact closely with educators and administrators, forming an integral part of the school’s support framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working with teachers, school counselors, and medical professionals to implement coordinated care and support strategies.
• Document all therapy interactions and client progress accurately and promptly in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality mandates.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to address emotional and behavioral challenges faced by students.
• Provide education to clients and their families regarding coping mechanisms, mental health conditions, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take control of their mental health journeys.
• Eagerly participate in clinical supervision and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role encompasses working with children, adolescents, and their families within the school system. You will provide critical support for a multitude of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, trauma, and learning disabilities. Your work will not only help address immediate concerns but also foster long-term resilience and emotional health within the student population.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is essential.
• At least three years of relevant experience as a social worker, preferably within an outpatient or school setting.
• Adept computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email communication, and therapeutic software for electronic medical records management.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of organization and self-motivation, while demonstrating a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience implementing school-based mental health initiatives and programs.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and working with a diverse student population.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and disability insurance.
