Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse range of students via telehealth, utilizing video and audio sessions to communicate effectively.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, facilitate intakes, and develop individualized treatment plans that address each student's unique needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities to support student development and family dynamics.
• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with all federal and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organizational standards.
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support to each student, actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Engage in outreach programs to educate students and families about available mental health resources and strategies for maintaining emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns and trauma-related challenges. You will work to empower students by helping them develop coping strategies, improve their social skills, and enhance their overall resilience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted LCSW license issued by the State of California.
• A minimum of three years of direct experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical or school setting.
• Proficiency in using computers and telehealth platforms; prior telemedicine experience is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to connect empathetically with students, families, and professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school systems and understanding the unique challenges faced by students.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Background in crisis intervention and case management.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding mental health practices in educational settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
