Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, facilitating flexibility in your work-life balance. Our detox center employs a comprehensive approach to client care, allowing you to engage in both virtual consultations and community-based services. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of clients exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes and meet established performance goals, focusing on client choice and empowerment.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evidence-based screenings to determine individual treatment needs, facilitating referrals to additional services when necessary.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans, maintaining clear communication and information exchange among clients, their families, and other service providers.
• Offer a variety of prevention, intervention, and recovery services, adapting to crises as they arise and providing immediate support to clients in need.
• Maintain adherence to professional ethical guidelines and ensure compliance with organizational policies as well as state and federal regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings aimed at enhancing service delivery within the agency.
• Handle on-call coverage responsibilities during and after program hours, demonstrating commitment to client care.
• Document client interactions and progress in timely, accurate reports to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal LCSW will work closely with diverse populations facing unique challenges related to mental health and substance abuse issues. Clients may include individuals in crisis, those seeking detoxification services, and others requiring ongoing support in their recovery journey. This role demands cultural competence and an understanding of the various traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles of the clients served.

Qualifications

• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
• Experience working in a remote environment or with telehealth services is an advantage.
• Bilingual candidates, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desired.

• Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
