Work Environment

The position is fully remote, allowing flexibility in managing your schedule while ensuring you can deliver quality care to patients. As a member of our dedicated and collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with doctors, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to create comprehensive care programs. Our main focus is to provide a seamless experience for patients, emphasizing mental health support within a detox setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess each patient’s needs, identifying barriers to treatment, and tailoring interventions accordingly.
• Develop individualized treatment plans leveraging both individual and group therapeutic modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic care approach, enhancing treatment compliance and care coordination.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families on managing mental health challenges and adhering to treatment recommendations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with departmental standards and regulations.
• Stay informed of community resources and facilitate connections for clients to ensure they receive comprehensive support.
• Advocate for patient needs, emphasizing self-determination and empowerment in community-based settings.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain expertise and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus on patients dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Your work will be essential in helping individuals navigate their recovery journey, providing them with the necessary tools and strategies to achieve and maintain their highest level of psychosocial functioning. You will engage with diverse populations, skillfully addressing their unique cultural patterns, developmental stages, and personal histories.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work.
• A current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure, with LCSW as the minimum requirement.
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in addressing the complexities of mental health issues as they relate to addiction recovery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting, working with populations affected by substance use disorders.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, group therapy, and evidence-based practices for mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with community resources that support clients with addiction and mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
