Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges, incorporating patient history and present concerns.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to patients, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting these modalities as necessary to fit individual circumstances.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and nursing staff to ensure seamless and coordinated care, regularly attending team meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and the medication management process, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based techniques, promoting healthy discussion and growth among participants.
• Engage in treatment plan development with the treatment team, aligning objectives with patient goals and preferences to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Assist patients in navigating the often complex mental health system, advocating for their rights and access to necessary resources.
• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and recovery.

You will work predominantly with individuals facing a broad range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment issues. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program is required.

Compensation and Benefits
