The remote hospice facility offers you a unique vantage point from which to provide care for patients dealing with complex emotional and psychological issues while fostering continuity of care. Alongside your colleagues, you will work to create a supportive virtual environment that removes geographical boundaries for service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including detailed psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and suicide risk assessments to formulate a clinical understanding of individuals' needs.
• Collaborate closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and cultural considerations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across individual, couple, family, and group formats.
• Provide crisis intervention services and work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients in acute distress, particularly those navigating end-of-life concerns.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, following clinic policies and all regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, empowering them with the knowledge and tools to manage their circumstances effectively.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Implement regular outcome assessments to evaluate effectiveness of treatments and make necessary adjustments to enhance patient progress.
• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into daily practice.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain stringent confidentiality concerning all patient information.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 84,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
