Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to the unique needs of students experiencing mental health challenges related to substance abuse.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices that address the multifaceted nature of each client's situation.
• Utilize various therapeutic methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), within the framework of substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation while adhering to local and federal regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and community services to promote ongoing recovery.
• Stay informed about the latest research and mental health practices, integrating new knowledge into your treatment strategies and professional development.
• Manage your caseload efficiently, meeting treatment goals and maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Clinical Social Worker at Daydream Counseling Services, you will work primarily with students and young adults grappling with the challenges of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
