The Anxiety Health Network is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to fill a full-time position based in Gresham, Oregon. This remote role is focused within a detox center setting, providing essential mental health services to individuals navigating substance use challenges. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients through recovery by offering high-quality, personalized therapy and counseling in both virtual and in-person environments.

Work Environment

You will work within a supportive and dynamic remote environment that prioritizes work-life balance and mental well-being. Our flexible scheduling options allow for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts between 8 AM and 7 PM on weekdays, enabling you to arrange your working hours to suit your personal and professional needs. As part of a collaborative virtual team, you will engage with colleagues and supervisors while maintaining a level of autonomy in your role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to a variety of clients, including individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring a tailored approach that meets their needs.
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing interviews to gather comprehensive information regarding clients’ social, personal, and emotional circumstances.
• Evaluate and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address client issues, helping them progress through their treatment journey.
• Design and facilitate programs and activities geared toward enhancing clients’ social and emotional well-being.
• Manage acute cognitive and emotional crises, applying short-term intervention strategies and making appropriate referrals to community resources.
• Establish therapeutic relationships based on trust, acceptance, and mutual respect, pivotal for effective treatment outcomes.
• Regularly assess and document the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure client progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and treatment services in compliance with organizational protocols and legal requirements.
• Provide clinical counseling tailored to the individual needs of clients, utilizing best practices in a remote healthcare setting.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing to case discussions and providing updates on client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working primarily with adults facing substance use disorders, presenting a unique set of challenges related to mental health. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing behavioral health issues such as depression, anxiety, substance misuse, and co-occurring disorders. You will work collaboratively with patients to foster resilience and promote recovery through a strengths-based approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Must possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical practice is expected.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working specifically with behavioral health concerns, including but not limited to mood disorders, addiction issues, and familial therapy.
• Strong background in crisis management and navigating complex emotional landscapes within the client population.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus, reflecting our commitment to attracting top talent in the field.
