Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Remote - Community Health Focus)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet shared goals and enhance the quality of care for our patients.
• Respectfully engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, recognizing and honoring their unique beliefs, traditions, and experiences.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients experiencing severe emotional disorders and major mental illness.
• Provide a spectrum of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, group therapy sessions, and family interventions, focused on promoting mental health recovery and prevention.
• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, employing effective de-escalation techniques to manage urgent situations.
• Manage a caseload effectively while documenting all interactions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients who face challenging mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other severe emotional disturbances. Our patient population is diverse, characterized by varying socioeconomic backgrounds, and as such, a culturally competent and empathetic approach to treatment is essential for effective engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical social work setting or related field.
• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Proven expertise in diagnostic assessment, treatment modalities, and crisis management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and patient engagement.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant documentation software.
• Skills in integrating physical and mental health care approaches in treatment planning.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 120,000 and 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
