Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule while engaging with clients directly through innovative digital platforms. Your primary focus will be within school settings, working closely with schools in the community to support students' mental health needs. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to students suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Conduct thorough and developmentally appropriate assessments to inform the creation of tailored care plans, ensuring each student’s unique needs are addressed.
• Establish and maintain a positive rapport with clients and their families, fostering an environment of trust and open communication.
• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing clinical skills to de-escalate tense situations and provide immediate support.
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and families to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care, including creating Integrated Care Plans that facilitate seamless access to additional services.
• Participate actively in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery within the practice.
• Monitor client progress rigorously, documenting sessions according to organizational standards, ensuring timely submission of reports and data.
• Provide on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned to maintain continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom come from underprivileged families that may have limited access to mental health resources. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these youth, you will be instrumental in delivering culturally competent care that meets their specific needs. Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical social work role, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse client population.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in school-based mental health services or community mental health settings.
