The LCSW will work with a diverse population of patients facing terminal illness, as well as their families. Experience working in hospice care or a related mental health field, particularly with end-of-life issues, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and a collaborative approach to patient care are also advantageous.
