Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments to gather vital information needed for understanding client needs and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic interventions, ensuring each session is personalized to meet the unique goals of the client.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and clinical records that are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all professional interactions.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, and other therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Facilitate regular case consultations and peer review meetings, encouraging continuous professional development and quality enhancement in service delivery.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies, empowering them to become active participants in their care.
• Stay updated on the latest research, treatments, and best practices in mental health care to continuously improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on working with diverse populations, particularly individuals undergoing detoxification and those managing co-occurring disorders. You will help clients navigate their recovery journeys, addressing not just their immediate mental health needs but also the psychosocial factors that contribute to their challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, specifically in psychotherapy within mental health or addiction settings.
• Proficient in implementing solution-based psychotherapy methodologies, with a strong ability to foster therapeutic alliances.
