Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Mental Health Specialist in Special Education

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program's Mental Health Team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. Work Environment

This position will be based in a remote setting, offering flexibility to manage your schedule while fulfilling your responsibilities. The role allows for close collaboration with a dedicated team of educators, therapists, and specialists through virtual means, ensuring seamless communication and support for our shared student population. The work hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to better understand the needs and challenges faced by students with diverse special needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on mental health issues affecting emotional well-being, behavior, and successful integration into the school community.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for conditions such as ASD, ADHD, emotional disorders, and trauma, guiding students toward positive outcomes.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at developing personal growth, emotional regulation strategies, and effective coping mechanisms for students.
• Collaborate with a variety of professionals, including educators and speech and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic approach to care for students, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing appropriate de-escalation techniques and strategies.
• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to empower them in their healing journeys.
• Maintain precise and compliant documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards regarding patient care.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development sessions to stay informed and enhance collaborative efforts.

The role primarily serves students with various emotional and behavioral challenges, including those diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. This population requires specialized understanding, compassion, and a tailored approach to ensure that their specific emotional and educational needs are met. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in Arkansas.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and trauma-informed care practices.
• Exceptional proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing targeted treatment plans.
• Experience delivering therapy both individually and in group settings for young people.
• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with students and their families.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
• A collaborative mindset and will to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome applicants who bring a strong commitment to continued learning and professional growth. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
