Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand the unique needs of each child and family.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring they are tailored to promote the child's developmental progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, utilizing evidence-based practices in natural learning environments.
• Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members to create a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth.
• Educate families on strategies and resources that will aid in their child's development, facilitating a partnership between home and intervention strategies.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations to maintain the highest standards of care and safety.
• Utilize the coaching paradigm to educate families in their natural environments, ensuring skills are practiced and reinforced meaningfully.
• Document all assessments, plans, and progress in compliance with agency policies and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus primarily includes children and families, particularly those with infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. As an LCSW, you will guide these families through the intricacies of early intervention services, ensuring they receive the tailored support needed to foster their child’s holistic development. Your role is vital in enhancing children's physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during the critical early years of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana.
• A valid driver’s license is required for potential in-person meetings or evaluations.
• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices and adapting methods to suit individual learning styles.

Compensation and Benefits
