Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related symptoms.
• Assess students' mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations, identifying concerns and formulating personalized treatment plans to address their specific challenges.
• Facilitate the development of educational and emotional goals for students, guiding them through actionable steps to achieve personal growth.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to provide a holistic approach to student wellness, ensuring that interventions are effectively integrated within the educational environment.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents who may be struggling with various mental health challenges. You will work with diverse populations, tailoring your approaches to respect cultural sensitivities and individual backgrounds. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient in clinical social work practices, including therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to connect with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in digital communication and telehealth technologies, comfortably utilizing multiple platforms for virtual counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing mental health services within a school setting or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with an array of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Play Therapy.
• Background in crisis intervention strategies and managing behavioral issues in children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits

The Salvation Mental Health Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
