Work Environment

The work setting is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients virtually from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Monitor client progress toward established treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with educators, school psychologists, and family members to coordinate care and effectively address student challenges.
• Provide crisis intervention for students experiencing acute distress, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Document all client interactions and treatment provided in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Stay informed about current trends and research in mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and social-emotional challenges. Many of these students may also contend with significant life transitions, such as family breakdowns or personal losses, making your role vital in guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW license issued by the state of Arizona.
• Proven experience in providing mental health support within educational settings or similar environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with students, families, and interdisciplinary teammates.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage case documentation and adherence to deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a school-based setting or with child and adolescent populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methods.
• Experience in crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
• Previous collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, particularly in an educational context.

Compensation and Benefits
