Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule while maintaining a strong connection with a collaborative team of mental health professionals. As part of a detox center, you will work closely with individuals at varying stages of recovery, providing much-needed support and strategies for coping, coping with stress, and improving overall mental health. The hours of operation are typically Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual's unique situation.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy leveraging evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, regularly reviewing and adjusting them as necessary.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients.
• Offering crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments, and creating safety plans to ensure the well-being of clients facing immediate challenges.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment processes, adhering to both ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Facilitating psychoeducational group therapy sessions and support groups that enable individuals to share experiences and learn coping strategies in a group setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily support clients residing in a detox center, many of whom are dealing with substance use issues alongside mental health challenges. This role involves addressing a diverse clientele and understanding the complexities of dual diagnoses, ensuring a client-centered approach to care that empowers individuals on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in mental health or outpatient settings, demonstrating proficiency in delivering therapeutic services.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and a solid understanding of how to apply them effectively with clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong assessment capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detox or substance use treatment setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
