Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs and challenges faced by students, tailoring treatment plans that adhere to evidence-based solution-focused methodologies.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and other evidence-based practices as appropriate for individual cases.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical records to facilitate efficient tracking of patient progress and to ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including teachers, school counselors, and other mental health professionals—to coordinate holistic care for students.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to share best practices and enhance care quality.
• Provide educational sessions and resources for patients and their families to equip them with essential tools and knowledge for improving mental health.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health to continually enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, some of whom may face challenges related to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role will be critical in fostering their emotional resilience and academic success, empowering them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LISW license in the state of Ohio.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the field, with a strong emphasis on psychotherapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and methodologies.
