Work Environment

This role entails working remotely within a virtual environment conducive to collaborative practice. Our team utilizes advanced technological platforms to connect with students, families, and educational professionals. The regular hours for this full-time position are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on client needs, ensuring flexibility to accommodate the diverse schedules of the students we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to students experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders through thorough assessments, individualized treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions.
• Engage with educational staff, parents, and caregivers to build supportive networks for students, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to advance team goals.
• Demonstrate cultural competence by respectfully working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, traditions, and interpersonal styles, ensuring inclusive mental health practices.
• Utilize organizational and financial knowledge to navigate and optimize interactions within our healthcare system and external organizations.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and providing the utmost quality of care in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clinical focus for this position primarily includes children and adolescents attending schools within the Corpus Christi area, who may present a range of behavioral, emotional, and psychological challenges. You will engage with students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues, facilitating their access to essential mental health resources and coping strategies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Texas, with comprehensive knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies appropriate for the child and adolescent population.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational capabilities to manage a caseload efficiently and deliver timely interventions, while adhering to documentation and administrative requirements.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse populations in both individual and group therapy settings is preferred.
• Previous experience in a school or educational institution setting is highly valued, providing familiarity with the challenges and dynamics of school-based mental health interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience.
