Work Environment

This role is predominantly remote, providing flexibility for our clinicians to engage with clients in a range of environments. While the majority of sessions will be conducted online, our services are tailored specifically for school settings, enabling you to contribute effectively to the educational community in Walla Walla, Washington, while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance through a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to thoroughly understand and identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, paving the way for focused treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches designed to address specific challenges faced by clients.
• Collaborate with schools and families, developing and implementing personalized service plans that target the unique goals and objectives relevant to each client.
• Advocate passionately for clients’ rights and access to critical resources, ensuring they are supported in navigating social justice issues.
• Contribute actively to program development and evaluation efforts, including grant reporting and measuring the effectiveness of services provided.
• Engage with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and foster connections for clients.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to promote mental health awareness and enhance service provision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on working with adolescents and families in a school-based setting, responding to a range of mental health disorders and emotional challenges. You will empower students to cope with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and interpersonal conflicts, facilitating their overall well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing clinical social work services, ideally within a school or community setting.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care, advocacy, and social justice principles, with a strong understanding of community resources.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and organizational abilities essential for effective case management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a school-based setting or with youth and families.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
