Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while fully engaging with clients and team members through virtual platforms. Despite the remote setting, you will remain deeply connected to our community health clinic initiatives and participate actively in team meetings, training, and community outreach activities. Occasionally, you may need to attend special events, which may occur during the evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to elucidate their social, emotional, and psychological needs, using various assessment tools and methodologies.
• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's specific circumstances.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that articulate clear objectives, ensuring clients recognize their pathways to wellness and empowerment.
• Actively advocate for clients, facilitating access to necessary resources and addressing any social justice issues they may encounter.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of community programs, participating in grant reporting and securing funding for future initiatives.
• Engage collaboratively with community organizations, governmental agencies, and volunteers to enhance the spectrum of services we provide.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will comprise individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, often confronting a host of challenges such as mental health issues, family dynamics, trauma, and socioeconomic barriers. You will be tasked with developing trusting relationships while addressing their unique needs, ultimately aiming to improve their quality of life and mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy and effective listening abilities in every interaction.
• Robust organizational skills to manage a varied case load effectively.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and current knowledge of community resources available for clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a nonprofit organization or a similar community-focused setting is highly preferred.
• Proven engagement in social justice advocacy and comprehensive understanding of relevant social issues would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
