Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment, intervention, consultation, and support services to secondary students with communication needs. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, therapists, and student support teams to help students achieve academic and social success.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments for speech, language, social cognition, and assistive technology needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, student progress, and required reports.
Collaborate with teachers, families, therapists, and support staff to support student success.
Participate in MTSS and RTI processes as a member of the Student Support Team.
Utilize evidence-based practices and technology to enhance communication and learning outcomes.
Plan and deliver engaging instructional and therapeutic activities.
Participate in professional development and ongoing learning opportunities.
Serve as a positive role model for students, families, and colleagues.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider License - Speech-Language Pathologist.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Mac and PC platforms, Google Workspace, and educational technology tools.
New graduates are welcome to apply; prior school-based experience is preferred.
Approximately 30 students.
May include supporting 5th-grade students to help balance caseloads.
