Work Environment

This full-time, onsite role is situated in a dynamic hospital setting in Joliet, Illinois, designed for busy surgical teams. Our facility emphasizes collaboration among healthcare professionals, allowing surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical technologists to work together seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of surgical procedures, including gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast, and hernia surgeries, using the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
• Perform thorough evaluations to diagnose conditions requiring surgical intervention, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend non-surgical treatment options based on individual patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient medical histories and monitor progress to ensure optimal recovery and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on the surgical procedures, expected recovery processes, possible risks, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate closely with medical teams including anesthesiologists and nursing staff to ensure safety and effectiveness during surgical procedures.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in surgical practices and methodologies, participating in educational opportunities and hands-on training.
