Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Call Requirement: 2 weekday calls and every 3rd–4th weekend call
Bill Rate: $65.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Scrub Tech to support surgical services at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate must have strong cardiovascular operating room experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia staff, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular operating room procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during cases.

Required Qualifications

• Must have CVOR experience.
• Must be NBSTSA certified.
• Must meet one of the following education/training requirements:

Option 1: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program.

Option 2: Completion of an approved Surgical Technology training program through one of the following U.S. Military programs:

• U.S. Army
• U.S. Navy
• U.S. Air Force
• U.S. Marine Corps
• U.S. Coast Guard
