Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite at our modern Surgical Center located in the picturesque Paradise Valley. The practice operates from Monday to Friday, providing a structured schedule from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with no weekend commitments, allowing surgeons ample time for personal and family pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Surgeon at Milestones Surgical Associates, your core responsibilities will encompass:

• Performing a variety of surgical procedures across different domains, including but not limited to gastrointestinal surgeries, endocrine surgeries, breast surgeries, and hernia repairs.
• Diagnosing and managing a diverse range of medical conditions that necessitate surgical intervention.
• Prescribing medications and recommending medically appropriate non-surgical treatments as required.
• Reviewing detailed patient medical histories, conducting assessments, and monitoring progress throughout the surgical continuum.
• Effectively communicating surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations to patients and their families to promote informed consent and cooperation.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary surgical team, including anesthesiologists and nursing staff, to ensure optimal surgical outcomes and patient safety.
• Staying abreast of developments in surgical methodologies and technologies to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Mentoring medical trainees, surgical technologists, and other staff as needed, contributing to their education and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits
