Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' orthopedic conditions, employing diagnostic tools and patient histories to inform clinical decisions.
• Perform a wide array of orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, fracture repairs, and spinal surgeries, ensuring the use of the latest surgical technologies to maximize patient outcomes.
• Offer pre-operative and post-operative care by educating patients on their conditions, pain management strategies, and recovery protocols, as well as conducting follow-up evaluations.
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, pain management experts, and rehabilitation professionals to create individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety and optimizing surgical outcomes, actively participating in hospital committees and discussions.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or an equivalent certifying organization.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
