Work Environment

Our surgical center emphasizes an onsite, hands-on approach to patient care, focusing primarily on outpatient procedures. The work schedule typically runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required for early or late patient appointments. We also operate with a shared on-call schedule among the orthopedic team, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive care around the clock, including after-hours consultations and emergency interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ orthopedic conditions through detailed physical assessments, reviews of medical history, and necessary diagnostic exams.
• Perform a variety of orthopedic surgical procedures, such as joint replacements, arthroscopic interventions, fracture repairs, and complex spine surgeries.
• Leverage cutting-edge surgical techniques and technologies aimed at improving patient outcomes and reducing recovery times.
• Team up with a multidisciplinary group that includes physical therapists, pain management experts, and rehabilitation specialists to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide holistic pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education, efficient pain management, and thorough follow-up evaluations.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient safety and surgical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals suffering from various orthopedic conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative joint diseases, fractures, and spinal disorders. We cater to a diverse demographic, providing personalized care with a focus on achieving optimal recovery and enhancing quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or an equivalent certifying body.
• A valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Minnesota.
• Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic issues, including but not limited to fractures, degenerative conditions, and joint replacement surgeries.
• Proven experience in performing surgical procedures relevant to orthopedic medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for optimal patient relations and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an attractive salary range of $400,000 to $600,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
